The Prez

We enjoy living in Spring City, Utah.  The Ward has been very kind to us.  Mark has had MS for many years.  Although he is in a wheelchair now, he still enjoys life.  He enjoys a wonderful sense of humor and a positive attitude.  We live near two of our children and many grandchildren.  We are expecting our 23rd grand child in September 2012.  Mark enjoys hearing from his missionaries and would love to know where they are, if they are married, how many children they have, and what they are doing with their life.  Mark's eyesight if affected on the left side, but he still reads.  Unfortunately, I must type for him--and I don't do well with Spanish!

While Mark and Sandy were on their mission, Sandy kept a wonderful journal.  It brings back many memories.  It was the culminating highlight of their life.  Mark absolutely loved his mission, serving in the Church, and serving the Lord.

President and Sister Barrow,

It is good to hear an update on both of you. I served with President Barrow from 99-01 and thought/think the world of him. I am finishing a graduate degree at BYU. I didn't realize you lived so close. I should come down and visit one day. I'm sorry to hear that President Barrow's health is maybe not what he would like it to be. He always had a great sense of humor, so I'm glad he hasn't lost that.

So good to hear from you once again.

Take Care,

Elder Lance J. Nelson
